Impression technique for dental crowns
The technique permits the dentist to impress the 2 dental arches simultaneously in the centric closing position, only on the side of the preparation, with a time-job, impression material and patient-trouble cut. The technique also permits the dental technician to develop this impression with only 60 g. of stone and in a single flow, resolving the problem of the occlusor, of the articulation and of the pinlay. For this technique the Royal Dental Research proposes the Speedy impression-tray that has been studied to combine perfectly with the Genius occlusor, permitting in this way the flow of very liquid stone into the inside and from the both sides of the impression and the occlusor. When the stone is hardened, the recesses of the last one permit to cut the little models and to do the pinlay. For the transport of the little models and the small impression a practical box is available.
